OUR MISSION AT COACHES’ TOOL CHEST
High school and middle school student athletes deserve an experience that helps them grow both athletically and personally. For this to happen, coaches must be trained on more than just mandated courses. Coaches also need training on topics that are relevant to today’s school athletic environment. These include a variety of subjects such as hazing, social media use, mental health, coach burnout and others.
Coaches want to grow and improve. Coaches want the training they receive to focus on skills and knowledge they can apply to the athletes they coach. The training should be practical, efficient, relevant, and easily accessible. The training should do more than just meet regulatory standards. It should address the issues coaches face today and be available to the coach on their schedule. Historically, coach's training has had components that needed to be sourced from a variety of providers. Our coursework is different. It is a single source platform that is updated with new content annually. It provides the kind of useful information that coaches appreciate.
Athletic administrators are responsible for ensuring every coach and every volunteer has done their required training. In the past, this has been a time consuming and cumbersome process that is a challenge to complete. Our platform has changed this.
